A Closer Look Into Where I Work

Posted on by Ben Bruno

Probably the biggest perk of working at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning (MBSC) is the chance to learn from Mike on a daily basis.

Mike is ridiculously smart, but even more importantly, he has tons of coaching experience with people from all walks of life. There are a lot of smart people out there, but there aren’t many that have been training people for as long as Mike has.

I honestly probably read more than anyone I know, but there are some things (ok, a lot of things) that you just can’t learn from books, and there’s just no substitute for actual coaching experience. Mike has loads of both book knowledge and practical knowledge, and it’s an amazing opportunity for me to be able to pick his brain on a daily basis. I’m certainly a much better coach for it.

The good news is that even if you don’t work at MBSC, you can get still get a snapshot into Mike’s brain with his new DVD series called Functional Strength Coach 4.

I just watched it, and I can’t believe how detailed it is. In all, it’s six DVD’s totaling over 10 hours where Mike covers just about every topic imaginable as it relates to training and coaching.

It’s not the cheapest product out there, but as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” In my opinion, it’s well worth the investment, plus it’s on a big sale right now, so if you’re thinking about getting it, now’s the time.

Read more about it here and see if it’s something you might be interested in.
