Good Reads For the Week: 6/30/2012
I’ve got a great reading list for you this weekend. I’m on my way out the door so I won’t bore you with chit-chat, but here it is.
I wrote an article for T-Nation called This Is How I Train where I shared how and why I train, what I eat, etc. I’m asked that sort of stuff a lot here on my blog so hopefully some of you find this article to be helpful in answering those questions.
Next, here are a few posts you may have missed during the week.
Landmine Single Leg RDLs
And now for the best of the rest.
12 Epic Movie Scenes by Tony Gentilcore. I normally don’t post non-fitness related stuff in these compilations, but I made an exception here because I’m a big movie buff and Tony’s got some good taste. I especially like the mentions of Rudy and Good Fellas, probably two of my top 5 movies of all time.
The Single Most Important Thing by Sean Hyson. Sean really nailed it with this one in my mind. A good training atmosphere is priceless.
Supreme Stability Training by Mike Robertson. I also learn a lot from Mike’s posts, and this was yet another example of that. Good stuff here.
Tweaking Physiology by Patrick Ward. I really like reading Patrick’s posts. He’s a really smart guy.
19 Tips For the Deadlift by Tony Gentilcore Man, two posts in my top 5. Tony is on fire this week. I’m a suck for all things deadlifts though, so I couldn’t resist.
What Types of Cues Should Trainers and Coaches Provide? by Bret Contreras. This is a good one from Bret on some of the finer points of coaching.

That’s it for this week. Hope you liked it. Please pass it along for others to enjoy too.
Also, my personal Facebook page reached its limit this week so I’m going to ask you all to join my new Facebook fitness page. Over time I’m going to transition to using that more than the personal page so I’d appreciate you joining that soon. Thanks!
With that, I’m off to probably the best brunch spot in the entire world followed by trying to get outside a bit to enjoy the sun.
Have a good weekend!
