Good Reads for the Week: 1/5/2013
Hope everyone’s starting off 2013 with a bang. So far so good my way. I’ve had an awesome week of workouts, probably the best in a long time actually, so that’s good. I’m going to be lifting 4-5 days a week and then take the weekends off. Anyway, that’s not the point of this post, though I may get into my own training at some other time.
Moving on.
It’s Saturday already, and that means it’s time for another Good Reads list.
Here’s a blog post you may’ve missed.
Next, one of my client’s, Megan Graham, started a new fitness website that I’d like to share with you. Megan is extremely dedicated to fitness (I wrote about her here, actually) and her site is geared women tangible, real-world tips for getting in better shape. She’s got tons of tips that she’s picked up through her experiences, so I think it’ll be a great thing. You can check it out here.
I also want to share a new book I read last weekend from Alwyn Cosgrove and Lou Shuler. It’s good stuff, and I’d recommend it for people looking for new workout ideas.
The New Rules of Lifting Supercharged: Ten All-New Muscle-Building Programs for Men and Women
Lou also wrote more about in these two posts on his blog.
A Supercharged Manifesto by Lou Shuler
Is Supercharged Good for Advanced Lifters? by Lou Shuler
