My First Speaking Gig

Posted on by Ben Bruno

I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be doing my first public speaking gig at this year’s IYCA (International Youth Conditioning Association) Summit on March 15-16 in Louisville, Kentucky.

It’s a great lineup of speakers, and it’s a huge honor for me to be speaking alongside them. It should be a blast, though I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous too.

My topic will be on program design for large group training. If you work with bigger groups, then you know it’s a whole different ballgame than doing personal or small group training, so hopefully my talk will help you out.

Even if that’s not your thing, the rest of the speakers are covering a wide array of topics, so you’re sure to find at least a few great talks that apply to your setting.

If you’re interested in my talk or some of the others, or you just want to stand in the back and make funny faces to try to distract me, you can find more info about the seminar HERE.

It’s a great price too, so I’d definitely check it out. Hope to see you there!

Congrats on landing the speaking gig! Your audience will be very lucky to hear from you… I’m sure you’ll have lots of great training variations to share. You’ll enjoy learning from the IYCA organization too, have fun!

Hope to see you there, man. I work as a trainer in Lexington -less than an hour away- so I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to see a coach I’ve developed a healthy respect for. I’m really looking forward to it!
